Hiring a gigolo is becoming less and less of a taboo. In fact, nearly half of all women today see paying for sex as a smart, modern, and sensible choice. This was revealed in a study by the online magazine Singlessite.nl, which surveyed 650 women about their views on paid intimacy.
The image of paid sex for women is no longer something hidden in the shadows – it’s slowly breaking free from outdated taboos. As mentioned earlier, nearly half of women today see hiring a gigolo as a smart and modern choice.
Still, a small minority continue to view paid sex as dirty, foolish, or vulgar.
Of all the women surveyed, 10% have actually followed through and hired a gigolo. Another 21% say they are seriously considering booking a man for sex, while 40% admit the idea has crossed their minds from time to time.
Today’s gigolo must be versatile to meet the wide range of desires modern women bring.
It’s striking that, despite numerous articles in women’s magazines highlighting the growing desire for anal sex, this isn’t strongly reflected here. Apparently, anal sex with a gigolo isn’t seen as essential, which places it lower on the wish list.
Since this is a business transaction, the question arises: how much are women actually willing to pay for two hours with a gigolo?
According to the survey, 28% say they would pay a maximum of €100. For 26%, the acceptable range is between €100 and €200, while only 7% are willing to spend between €200 and €300 for the lovemaking of their dreams.
A very small minority – just 3% – say they would consider paying between €300 and €400.
Which women are most likely to pay for a male escort? According to the survey, it’s mainly well-educated women and business professionals. Women over forty and single women also rank highly.
In contrast, women with lower education levels, housewives, and married women are considered the least likely clients.
